Sri Lankan Janaza Scheme (North & West)
Terms & Conditions
- The member should be of Sri Lankan origin or married to a person of Sri Lankan origin.
- Payment:
• Membership fees will be automatically deducted on a recurring basis through PayPal.
• Payments will be processed on the agreed schedule (annually) based on the membership type selected.
• Member authorizes SLJSNW to securely process payments through your designated PayPal account.
• Member may cancel the subscription at any time by providing written notice, but cancellation must occur at least 1 month before the next payment date to avoid charges.
- The member should be living within the service area of SLJSNW (refer to the area map under “Services” on the website – www.sljs.org.au).
- Beneficiaries must be living as the same address as the member and can include spouse and unmarried children.
- At the time of service, the membership should be active (fully paid) for that calendar year.
- Any active (fully paid for the current year) member and his/her direct family members will be eligible for a free burial plot.
- If any of the visiting parents of a member pass away, the Janaza Scheme can allocate the burial plot as a service. The member is required to pay the cost of the burial plot within an agreed period.
- Non-member: If a non-member of a Sri Lankan community passes away, the Janaza Scheme can assist in allocating the burial plot. Family members of the deceased are required to pay the cost of the burial plot within an agreed period.
- SLJSNW executive committee has the right to decide under special circumstances.
- The services provided by the SLJSNW are subject to availability.
- Membership period is from 1st of January to 31st of December each year.
- The membership fee is non-refundable. There is no pro rata in the membership fees.
- These terms and conditions are subject to change at the Annual General Meeting.
